Portlimits Website Makeover

by | Dec 30, 2018 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

This is what happens when you don’t update the system and plugins of WordPress. Website becomes obsolete and full of bugs.

The old website loads around 15 to 30 seconds which is bad. Plus some plugins are giving error messages or not working properly. Upon checking the administration or backend area, i found out a lot of outdated plugins and even the WordPress system is not updated to the latest version.

Portlimits made an inquiry last week and asked for help about their website. They would like a redesign and just fix the errors of the website.

And that’s what i did this week. I really didn’t focus on the visuals (although i made some redesign changes) but what i did is fix all the errors, update the system, update the plugins, made the website load faster (under 2 to 5 sec)

Here’s the new look website after the redesign:

Portlimits Shipping Agency Philippines

and here’s the loading speed of the website after the makeover (the old site loads 15 to 30 sec before)

Portlimits new website speed

Anyways, since i will also maintain this website. I will monitor this closely and see what improvements i can do. For now the website looks refreshing, loads fast and up to date which is important.
